This 12" slow-pitch softball tournament will feature an all-day round robin, and will end with a single elimination playoff tournament to name the first ever Softball Classic Champion!

HighlightsOn August 10, 2008 at the Roselle Park District, over 130 softball players took a swing at ending global poverty at the inaugural Softball Classic in Roselle, Illinois. Approximately $12,000 was raised at the charity event. Ten teams from Chicago and the surrounding area played an all-day round-robin that ended with a single elimination playoff tournament. First place went to team Wise Guys from Aurora taking the title of Softball Classic Champion. Second place went to team Parrot Media from Schaumburg. Over 300 players and spectators joined in family activities to raise awareness of the foundation's mission. |
